Organization

The SYPT is organized by the organization Pro IYPT-CH. The aim of the Pro IYPT-CH is that of making the idea behind the International Young Physicists' Tournament better known in Switzerland and of promoting and supporting the commitment of institutions, teachers and students. Beside organizing the Swiss tournament, the tasks of Pro IYPT-CH include publicity, the selection and preparation of the Swiss team for the IYPT as well as the coaching during that tournament. The board is responsible for the detailed descisions and the executive work.

In addition Pro IYPT-CH organizes a similar competition, the Swiss Young Naturalists' Tournament (SYNT). Pro IYPT-CH also selects and prepares the Swiss team for the International Young Naturalists' Tournament.

The membership is open to everyone who wants to support the SYPT or the idea behind the IYPT in Switzerland for a modest yearly contribution. If you have participated in the SYPT and/or IYPT or if you would like to support the organization and at the same time stay in contact to other members, then a membership is the best way to go; just fill out this form.
